THE SKINNY: How could you not be lured by this brand and this product, which promises an organic (meaning fruit acid and aloe), quick-acting way to fight occasional breakouts in adults.
I was so eager to try it, although not for a pimple to appear on my face. But when one did, I squeezed out a little of the gel and applied it. This serum looks organic -- it's kind of brownish and gooey. It smells organic too.
The next morning, I glanced in the mirror. To my disappointment, the pimple looked worse.
But you know how the healing process is. Sometimes thing look a little worse when they're starting to get better. So I applied the serum again in the morning and again at night.
The next morning, the pimple had multiplied.
I stopped using the serum, and the next morning, most of the baby pimples were gone and the original pimple looked much better.
Maybe it was coincidence -- not the serum that was the problem but something else with my skin.
Does it really matter? No. I won't try this product again.
KEEP OR TOSS: Toss. I'm not taking any chances
