Eye Rock Designer Liner

RATING (out of 5 stars): 1 star

COST: $13 for four sets

THE SKINNY: Eye Rock is an adhesive eyeliner available in various styles. I have no idea why you would ever want stick-on eyeliner, but I tried it anyway.

The result was kind of comical. I don't wear false eyelashes, so maybe that's where my problem started. I'm not good at applying stickers to my eyelids, even these touted as easy to apply. My hands are apparently too shaky to get a long, skinny, flimsy piece of paper attached to my eyelid correctly. (I don't do well with anything that requires precision.)

Here's how it works. Start with a clean and dry eyelid. No makeup. You have to trim the corners of each sticker to get it to match up with your eye shape. Then press lightly so it adheres. Fill in any gaps with a liner pencil.

Then blink. And blink. And blink. And blink. And make that "eeeew" noise when you feel your eyelid sticking when you blink. And remove.

My life is not glamorous enough that I need fancy winged eyeliner. And I didn't like the sensation of having a sticker on my eyelid.

KEEP OR TOSS: I gave away the remaining three stickers.

CHECK IT OUT: I blame Birchbox for my knowing and trying Eye Rock, so here's a link to its product page. Maybe you'll have better results than me.
