Ole Henriksen Grease Relief Cleansing Cloths

THE SKINNY: I grabbed a sample pack of these cleansing cloths thinking they would be good after a lunchtime workout. They're OK but not nearly as useful as I had hoped.

These are made with eucalyptus, which you can really smell, as well as witch hazel, aloe and a few other ingredients meant to help remove excess oil from your skin.

The smell is a little off-putting, and the clean isn't as tangy as I wanted. They do a good job of removing grime and oil. But I'm not enamored by them.

The cloths are textured on one side to help with cleansing.

If you're looking for something to cleanse, exfoliate and calm your skin, these are worth a try.

Ole Henriksen Nurture Me Makeup Removing Wipes

THE SKINNY: I am fairly certain the people at Ole Henriksen can do no wrong. While I have used plenty of their wipes, the Nurture Me Makeup Removing variety might be my favorite.

These wipes seem to be a little more gentle than some of the others, while still working magic on makeup. (I also like to use these to get grime off my face after a good run.)

They are tough enough to take out waterproof mascara -- unlike many other wipe-style removers -- and are packed with good oils to help moisturize while cleaning.

Skyn Iceland Glacial Cleansing Cloths

THE SKINNY: Skyn Iceland Glacial Cleansing Cloths feel amazing against your skin. But they don't do much to remove mascara.

That's the hiccup in my thought process. I see "cleansing cloth," and think they'll clean the makeup off my skin.

Instead, Skyn Iceland's cloths are more of a refresher. And they are good at that. They're cool, light and soothing. And a little foamy, which is weird but tolerable.

I'm a fan of this brand and it's spa-like products, so I give them some latitude.

La Fresh Instant Body Soother Wipes

THE SKINNY: After a long run, I am gross. Plain and simple. So gross that I don't even want to climb back in the car. Enter body wipes.

La Fresh Instant Body Soother Wipes are some of the ... um, well ... freshest wipes I have tried. The cooling wipes have a wonderful peppermint fragrance that smells and feels clean.

The wipes are designed to soothe skin with six oils and are part of the brand's eco-beauty line, meaning the wipes are biodegradable, compostable and made with solar energy practices. So you will feel good and feel good about using this product.

I also especially like that you can buy these wipes in a pack of 24 or pack of 18 individually-wrapped wipes (great for keeping in the car).

Ban Total Refresh Cooling Body Cloths

COST: $3.29 for 10 wipes

THE SKINNY: I play tennis pretty regularly at lunch, and if I can't get in a quick shower afterward, I rely on Ban Total Refresh Cooling Body Cloths to clean up.

Unless you have uber sensitive skin, don't read the ingredients. The list reads like a mad scientists' concoction of various alcohols and other chemicals. But these wipes really do work and leave me feeling refreshed and able to return to work.

They take away sweat, cool hot skin, erase redness and leave behind an almost-showered scent. They don't leave my skin sticky or dry or irritated.

My only compliant is that the cloths aren't bigger. They're the same size as a makeup wipe, which can be a little awkward trying to wipe down larger areas. Luckily, they're a little damper than the average makeup wipe, so they do get the job done.

You Smell Lemon Verbena Aloe Wet Wipes

COST: $5 for 12

THE SKINNY: The powerful little wipes are great for when you smell. You Smell Lemon Verbena Aloe Wet Wipes are nice-sized towelettes that help you feel a little fresher after a workout or any time you just need to freshen up.

I used one after a run and the light lemon scent was clean while the wipe did not leave me feeling sticky or with overly-dried skin. (I was actually surprised at home much I love these little things.)

These wipes are also great on skin because they don't contain alcohol and the cloth used is soft. Each box comes with 12 wipes that are individually wrapped for easy use and so they won't dry out over time.

Plus this little box is a steal for only $5. I have found my new running partner for sure. (And I can't wait to try the Honeydew Mint wipes next.)

Kat Von D Unlock-It Makeup Remover Wipes

THE SKINNY: After using Kat Von D Unlock-It Makeup Remover Wipes, I could not really figure out how this product was really any different from all the other makeup remover wipe options.

They removed the makeup pretty well. (Mascara was still a little tricky.) They did not smell bad or cause any trouble. But they weren't really outstanding either.

This product was very average.

But has a bigger than average price tag. At 50 cents per wipe, I think I will stick to something like Say Yes to Cucumbers, which are a fraction of the price and quite refreshing.
