Fekkai Shea Butter Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner

RATING (out of 5 stars): 2.5 stars

COST: $23 for 8 ounces

THE SKINNY: The Fekkai Shea Butter Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner combination made my hair shiny and super smooth. So nice that on a humidity-free day I was able to skip the flat iron and not even worry about frizz.

Both formulas were super rich, thick and creamy and did not contain any odd color additives.

The products though do have a couple of downsides. I was not happy with the scent of the shampoo and conditioner. It was a little buttery and stale. And the smell stuck in my hair; even hours after washing I kept catching the scent. I never warmed to it.

And this is a pricey product. At $23 per bottle ($46 for the pair), I just cant see buying it. I have tried other less expensive products and liked them a lot more. (I highly recommend Matrix Total Results at less than half the price if you are eying a salon brand.)

KEEP OR TOSS: I used the samples, but will not be buying this product.
