THE SKINNY: Clinique makes the best makeup remover I've ever tried.
Take the Day Off is gentle on skin and eyes but tough on mascara and makeup. It's so gentle, it doesn't really feel like it's doing anything when you swipe a cotton ball across your eyes. But use a little cleanser, and everything comes off.
I really like that this makeup remover isn't oily and doesn't irritate my eyes.
It's removed all varieties of mascara without issue, even the waterproof kind, without a lot of scrubbing.
That makes it a real powerhouse in my book.
