Shiseido Urban Environment Oil–Free UV Protector

RATING (out of 5 stars): 4 stars

COST: $30 for 1 ounce

THE SKINNY: Shiseido's Urban Environment Oil–Free UV Protector was a big surprise for me.

It's a thin, runny liquid that can be a little hard to coat the skin, especially if you don't have a big enough puddle in the palm of your hand. (Yes, this comes out quite watery, which is usually something I cannot stand.)

But once on my skin, I was really impressed with the results. This is a light protector that packs a real punch. It's SPF 42. It's great for the hot days of summer because it's not heavy or sticky. And it blocks UV rays and general environmental skin damage.

Though it's not technically a moisturizer, this protector left my skin feeling silky smooth. It's not irritating to my skin or eyes.

Overall, I'm really happy with this product. I can see myself using it all summer.

KEEP OR TOSS: Definitely keep.
