MicrodermaMitt

RATING (out of 5 stars): 1 star

COST: $28.50 for one

THE SKINNY: This is one of the strangest products I've tried in a long time. Although it looks like a small burlap sack, it's actually an all-natural silk mitt to exfoliate dead skin cells and dirt.

You're supposed to use a damp mitt on damp skin. Rub gently to remove dead skin cells.

I used the mitt once on my face, and it was much too rough. It felt more like sandpaper than an exfoliator. I tried it for about a week on my arms and legs. It still felt rough and it didn't seem to do anything. I get much better results from an exfoliating poof and liquid bath soap.

Plus, the mitt is just awkward to use. It's not hand-shaped. It's a little big and bulky for its purpose. And it needs to drip dry somewhere.

KEEP OR TOSS: Toss. While I'm sure this may work fabulously for some people, it's too rough for my liking, especially to use on my face.

CHECK IT OUT: Watch a video about the product with instructions on how to use it.
