L'Oreal 24-hour Infallible Eyeshadow

RATING (out of 5 stars): 4.5 stars

COST: $5.50-8 online and in drugstores

THE SKINNY: I did something I try to never do in the name of this review. I slept with my eye makeup on. And I woke up and it was still there. So we can truly say L'Oreal 24-hour Infallible Eyeshadow lives up to its name.

This is by far the best drugstore eyeshadow I have ever used. The cream formula goes on almost like a powder but it has the super-saturated color of a cream. There is no mess or drying time after application and the color really does last all day, all night and into the morning. (I have to say I was shocked at the results.)

And this stuff is cheap. And it comes in 12 shades. And you can get it almost anywhere.

Did I mention that I am excited by this product?

I tried "Golden Sage," a great green shade the goes perfectly with my hazel eyes. I got several compliments on the first day I tried it and am now planning to run back to the grocery store for "Sultry Smoke."

I do wish this shadow came with a small brush. Because with these creamy shadows you really need a dedicated brush or you end up with a mess. But for $6.50 (what I actually paid), I should not complain.

The container is also a little odd. The top is actually the bottom and once you open it there is a plastic insert that says "do not throw away."

KEEP OR TOSS: Keep! Buy more shades.

CHECK IT OUT: Find out more about the Infallible line and find out where to buy it near you.
