Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint in Pearl

RATING (out of 5 stars): 2 stars

COST: $38

THE SKINNY: Not that it factors into the review, but this was the tiniest sample of tinted moisturizer I've ever seen.

Jouer's moisturizer, like most others, is designed to mask those little inperfections and fine lines. It's an oil-free formula that feels really light going onto your skin.

Sadly, the coverage it provides is also really light. The "tip" included on the Jouer website says to "layer for additional coverage." If I'm paying $38 for a tube of tinted moisturizer, I want it to last as long as possible, not disappear because I had to use three times the normal amount.

My sample was in "pearl." I did like the color a lot against my skin, but the "luminizing" part of the product made my face look shiny. I had to layer extra matte powder over it to leave the house.

Overall, I just wasn't impressed.

On a good note, it is SPF 20.

KEEP OR TOSS: It doesn't matter. The sample was so small, it barely contained enough for one application.

CHECK IT OUT: Jouer offers six shades of this moisturizer. See them all on its website.

  1. This tinted moisturizer is very effective in hiding my scars after my Long Island plastic surgery. It also makes my skin look smooth and blemish free.
