Bare Escentuals Eye Rev-er Upper

RATING (out of 5 stars): 4.5 stars

COST: $21

THE SKINNY: Most mornings I look like I was on the losing end of a bar fight the night before. You could pack for an ocean cruise in the big, dark blue bags under my eyes. So while looking over one of the many email sale notices I get from Sephora, I spotted bareVitamins Eye Rev-er Upper (great name) from Bare Escentuals, an .45 oz. tube of under-eye cream that promises to make me look like I got 12 hours sleep. Well, that may be a wee exaggeration, but it does make me look like I got eight hours of sleep -- a goal that I try to meet every night.

I dab just a tiny drop under each eye in the morning and within minutes my eyes are less puffy and appear much lighter. The cream, made with a cucumber extract and no synthetic fragrances, feels cool and refreshing, too.

At $21 for a tiny tube, it's a little pricey, but I use such a small amount and get such a good result, it will last for a long time and is well worth the investment. It's nice to face the world each day not looking like an insomniac.

KEEP OR TOSS:
Keep! I've tried a lot of eye creams, this is the first one I would recommend.

CHECK IT OUT: I ordered this from Sephora, which offers free shipping for orders $50 or more and free samples with every order.

  1. This product is so cool because it really makes my eyes look so smooth and wrinkle free. I also use this to hide the scars of my recent acne scar reduction treatment. It works!
