RATING (out of 5 stars):1 star
COST: $55 for 1 ounce
THE SKINNY: Full disclosure: I am a powder foundation kind of girl. Liquids are messy and I can't seem to apply them without looking cakey and shouting "I AM WEARING MAKEUP."
Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation was no exception.
I did not like the feel. It looked cakey. And the "Nude" color was not nude. It had a tinge that did not match my skin tone at all. (Nude should be a universal color, right?)
It did dry quickly, as advertised, and claims to be great for oily/combination skin (that's me). This product also claims to help reduce wrinkles with continued use. Continued use is not an option with this sample and I can't make myself pay for a liquid foundation; they are just too messy and gross.
KEEP OR TOSS: Toss. I tried it once. Still don't like the feel of liquid foundation. But if you do, this product might be worth a try if the price does not scare you away.
CHECK IT OUT: Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation is available only through department stores and beauty retailers, such as Sephora.
