THE SKINNY: I really think CC creams are overrated. SO I was especially skeptical about trying on for my hair.
But Alterna, a brand I am pretty partial to, proved me wrong. The Caviar CC Cream is a great leave-in product that helps your hair hold its style, softens and keeps it looking healthy.
What does this cream do? It claims to provide moisture, shine, smoothness, softness, UV protection, manageability, strength, anti-breakage, heat protection and hold.
I can vouch for the smoothness, softness and shine for sure. The others are a little harder to quantify. It does keep static and frizzes away too!
What is nice is that a small dollop goes a long way in wet hair or you can use an even smaller amount on dry hair as a finisher. (I prefer using it on wet hair to help protect against the blow dryer.)
