THE SKINNY: An off smell can ruin any product. Josie Maran’s intensive hand cream is an amazing moisturizer that goes on thick and creamy and immediately soothes dry hands. I really mean “immediately,” too. It’s one of the best hand creams I’ve tried, mostly because you get instant results without your hands feeling slick or sticky.
It’s made from argan oil and shea butter.
I would use this product every day if it weren’t for that one little thing.
This hand cream smells like melted plastic. It’s awful, and it lingers and infects everything your fingers touch. The advertising says the cream is "lightly scented with a natural vanilla apricot fragrance.” I smell neither vanilla nor apricot. I just smell yuck.
Dear Josie Maran: Please fix the smell. Like yesterday. Thanks.
KEEP OR TOSS: I’m really torn. My hands say “keep.” My nose says “toss.”
